Crane Axle - Dana 44 High-Steer, Interlocking Knuckle Kit - Extreme Duty

One of the easiest ways to get a tougher vehicle is to move those tie rods and drag links out of the trails way! With the Crane Axle High-Steer, Interlocking Knuckle Kit, you will get more than just the steering components relocated. Expect a huge increase on durability and performance out of your knuckles and steering arms by using our USA built, extreme duty parts. 

Crane's Extreme Duty Interlocking Outer Knuckles are made from High Strength Nodular Iron. The High-Steer arms are built from 1018 CR steel for superior strength. The interlocking design is a Crane original! You can say goodbye to broken hi-steer arm studs now that the interlocking keys are carrying the load. Crane's outer knuckles fit: GM, Dodge, CJ and full-size Jeep Dana 44 and GM 10 bolt front axles from 1/4 ton to 3/4 ton. Most applications are direct bolt on replacements. Some may require caliper bracket, spindle and caliper changes.

• (1) LH Interlocking Knuckle
• (2) Interlocking High-Steer Arms
• (6) 5/8" Studs/Cones/Locking Nuts
• (12) Spindle Studs

Crane's steering arms are piloted with 1/2" holes for ease of locating tie rod and/or drag link holes. They can be tapered to run 3/4 & 1 ton tie rod ends. They can also be drilled to run 5/8" or 3/4" rod ends. Proudly Made In The U.S.A.

FITMENTS:

Our knuckles and will fit all Dana 44 steering axles in combination with our Crane Axle Dana 44 Inner C's. OEM fitment  will vary on manufacturer and model.

• 1972-1976 K5(Blazer/Jimmy)/K10/K20/k30 (passenger side) Some 1977 K5 Blazers came with Dana 44s in the front, others came with a Corporate 10 bolt solid axle.

Dodge

• 1980–2001 ½ Ton (W150/1500) (passenger side 1980-1993, driver side 1994-2001½)
