We have used Sanderson headers on our builds for years, and have always recommended our customers do the same. Not only is their Block Hugger Header lineup the tightest fitting headers on the market, but they offer exceptional performance as well. No matter the driving conditions you may encounter, these headers hold up great and do no limit the performance of your build whatsoever. When we design any of our chassis, we specifically account for clearance of these Block Hugger Headers.
They are compatible with 265-400 Chevy small blocks, using 16-Gauge steel for its primary and collector tubes. The primary tube diameter is 1- ½ and the collector diameter is 2.5”. The flanges are 3/8” thick and don’t require any gaskets thanks to a patented design! Sanderson’s Headers are also proudly made in the USA.
These Small Block Hugger headers are also great for street rods & trucks equipped with small-block Chevrolet engines, where space or clearance might be a concern. These headers will clear just about any motor mount configuration, tie rods, and steering rods. They’re also compatible with any starter and transmission combo, making them a great choice for almost any build!
For added convenience, there is an option to include professionally TIG welded V-Bands onto your headers. This feature enhances durability and ease of use.
