Wide Open Design’s Fabrication and Shop Work
Wide Open Design is known for producing high quality fabrication work. We house
a large variety of tools to tackle any job. With our well rounded staff we are able
to build and design new parts from our own manufacturing to custom one off pieces
that customers need to finish off there vehicle just right. We started the company
by building total one off custom buggies that has blended over in to building off
road race cars, show buggies and a wide variety of any thing in between. We also
will tackle other jobs as well from a lift kit to a custom cage we can handle what
you need for your on or off road vehicle.

Wide Open Designs Involvement with Ultra 4 Racing
Ultra 4 is the new wave of racing that has hit the off road world just a few short
years ago. It is currently the fastest growing form of off road racing today that
blends in a mix of wide open high speed racing and technical rock crawling. The
vehicles being built for this type of racing are like no others before. They are
made to fly down the straight smooth sections and crawl up huge ledges all while
trying to do it faster than the rig in front of or behind them. Wide Open Design
is excited to be a part of this kind of racing because it is absolutely the best
proving grounds for products. If a product will hold up to a 1000 mile off road
race it earns the right of us to believe in it enough to sell it to trail wheelers.
